is a Northern California Band playing pure, classic blues.  A four-piece combo including guitars, bass, and drums, Julie and the Jukes bring to life the classic Chicago blues of Muddy Waters, Little Walter and Howlin’ Wolf, the Memphis sounds of B. B. King, and the Texas style of Freddie King.


Julie, on bass guitar and vocals, fronts the band.  With over 20 years of experience in blues bands, she brings energy and charisma to the show.  Charles “Chicken Scratch” Oriel, on guitar and vocals, has been playing guitar and singing for more than 45 years. “Pilsner Bill” Mulvihill on guitar adds soulful solos and great rhythm. “Hound Dog” Dave Gill on the drums adds tasty fills and grooves.

Julie and the Jukes have appeared at The Shady Lady Saloon, Scribner Bend
Vineyards, Highway 50 Brewery, Tilted Mash Brewing, Davis Farmers Market Picnic in the Park and other venues in the greater Sacramento area.
